A roundtable seminar was organized jointly by Pakistan Study Centre (PSC) and Pakistan Embassy, Kathmandu at Hyatt regency. The topic of roundtable was “Relevance of Ancient Silk Route in Modern Times: Nepal-Pakistan Perspective”. President of PSC Amb(retd) Keshab Jha conducted the program. Mr. Saphalie Amate, foremer DG Deptt of Archeology and Prof. Arun Gupta presented papers related to the topic. Mr. Javed Ahmed Umrani, DCM Pakistan Embassy gave a power point presentation on Silk route and CPEC, Chairman Nepal Pakistan friendship and cultural association (NPFCA) Mr. Himalaya Shamsher Rana, President Nepal Council of World Affairs Mr. Hemanta Kharel and Ambassador of Pakistan Dr. Mazhar Javed shared their vies on the topic. The formal program was followed by a discussion in which participants shared their views and raised some knowledgeable points on the topic. The event was attended by academiciaqns, journalists, members of PSC and NPFCA, think tanks and diplomats. The event was followed by lunch.
